Part1:
Q.What's your job?
A.I am a high school teacher of English as a second language...
Q.Do you like this job? Why?
A.Yes, I do. As a matter of fact, I love my job. Firstof all, it gives me the opportunity to use and improve my English all day long every day——I have to think about how to express myself clearly in English;and secondly, working with students makes me feel young again because they are full of energy and enthusiasm for life.
Q.Does doing this job ever give you trouble? How do you deal with them?
A.Sometimes students can be very hard to deal with——for example, once I didn’t want to be their friend but a teacher. However, most of the problems that we face are minimal and easy to overcome. My main strategy is to stay positive, try not to take things too personally, and remember that there are probably better ways to deal with any situation.
Part3:
Q.Some people say playing computer games can train your brain, while other believe it's just a waste of time. What's your opinion on this issue?
A.First off, let me say that I am no expert on this issue. Secondly, though, I don't think gaming is totally wasted time, at least not in moderation. Of course, nobody would argue against the fact that excessive or uncontrolled use of computers can and does cause harm physically and mentally. But if you limit yourself to one or two hours a day, it seems to me that this is okay—especially since so many people cannot resist the temptation to play online games.
