签证需要学校的cas吗？
CAS是英国大学发给学生确认课程及学位安排和位置的唯一正式的书面确认书（Letter），也是申请学生签证的必要文件之一； 那么 CAS Letter到底包括些什么内容呢？ 一般来讲，CAS包含学生的个人信息、学校信息、学位信息以及确认入读的信息。
1.Information about the University， your course/programme and your contact details; 2.The start date of that you have been offered; 3.The dates which you must attend and complete your studies at the university， if appropriate (for example for a Ph.D) ; 4.Any English language requirements or other pre-conditions to entry specified by individual courses， and any related exemptions from them; 5.The amount of tuition fee that is payable；and how it will be paid in instalments and what support arrangements they offer; Where applicable：
6.The conditions under which study may only continue on the course， such as academic performance levels required after each year's studies， or satisfactory completion of specific modules， examinations或 project work etc before progression can be allowed onto another level of the degree programme; 7.If there are restrictions on withdrawal or transfer within the course；or between the institution and other institutions where joint programmes， or modules are involved； 8.How your student visa should be obtained， including whether an ATAS certificate has been issued and also explaining the process for applying for this. 如果CAS包含有以上的所有信息，则意味着你的CAS已经被认证了！否则需要联系学校重新发送一份新的带有完整信息的CAS给到你。
那什么情况下会出现无信息的CAS或者是无效的CAS呢？
通常有以下几种情况： 1.CAS号错误； 2.CAS没有由学校正式发出； 3.CAS号码已被使用过； 4.CAS有效期已过； CAS的有效期限与入学时间相关联，通常为6个月。以学生拿到录取通知书上的开学日期为准，从这一天起向前推6个月为一个周期。例如，学生获得2013年9月入学通知书，则该CAS的有效期限为2013年9月至2014年3月为止。所以学生一定要在指定有效期内完成递交资料等手续并获取入境签证，以便顺利抵达英国开始留学生活哦~ 由于CAS是由校方发放的，而每个大学的CAS具有独一无二的编号，因此即使CAS的内容一样，但每一个CAS都是不同的。如果同学收到的CAS上面显示的信息不对或者出现空白，请立刻将此事告知招生老师，由他们联系院校重新发一份CAS过来即可。
